Hello to all,

I have been working on Frontpage editor, to build on my websites. Though i had various problems, I managed now to work it out.
I had a lot of suggestions, and now also the program, to change to Dreamweaver...

-How do I load from one program to the other?
-Would they be a lot of messed up pages?
-Do I start editing from the beginning?
-Would I have problems with publishing? like a confused LP server, with 2 different matches on each page?

I work exclusively in Dreamweaver on a mac and have been satisfied with LunarPages. However, they seem to be much more user friendly to Frontpage and pc format. Why change? I would never switch from Dreamweaver or a mac, but that's what I've "grown up on"

I mostly like LunarPages because of the name. My business partner is an astrologer and I'm a palm reader... it just sounds so darn Metaphysical.

Good luck. I don't think you'll have any problems and long as the names in your public_html are identical. Dreamweaver will just replace them. Be careful with sub domains though. As an artist turned web person, you have to remember to be very, very well organized. Every problem I've had with Dreamweaver has com back to bite me because I didn't organize my files well enough in my public html. I have also found better to work through "save to remote server" in Dreamweaver than "manage sites."

I probably was no help, I don't speak computer very well and do it all my way like a hermit.

Thank you for your advise,

I am not a web person, just trying to be control of my work on the web, since is a lot of details
I work with pc, Frontpage and LP,
your comment, was helpful, as far as the public_htm,..and also the remote file.
I use the same in FP, and much prefer that  manage folder on Cpanel.

The reason I wanted to change is because FP, is a bit strange with Firefox,
(underlines in links, even if set decoration: none, on the code)

Anyway,..I am not sure yet
have a good day,..and thanks for your message

Just starting in Dreamweaver CS5.

Certainly expect a lot of previous knowledge -- and I have to eventually teach three other folks.

Not seeing my pages and they are in public_html but I understand there is some lag time when you initially propogate your site?  and a server was being changed?  anyway time for some shut eye
