Hello,

I would like to create a bunch of forms on my webpage and I need to know if there is a simple cgi-bin location that I can use. I have never tried this on my own, and I do not ave any idea how it works outside of a already set environment. Up to now I have created forms on the columbia.edu server which includes a perl script so all I need to write is form action="http://www.columbia.edu/cgi-bin/generic-inbox.pl" method="POST"

is there an equivalent on lunarpages?

If more information is available elsewhere I aprpeciate any hints. For example I would like to have data collected in a file and/or by email. Can i construct with a form my own guestbook and then have the results displayed? I have no idea about php, scripts, perl, etc just plain html.

By the way, my webpage is daitaclaire.ro

thanks,

Daita

Hello, it sounds like you have a good idea on what you want to do.  Hopefully this resource might be able to help you some.

http://nms-cgi.sourceforge.net/scripts.shtml

Hopefully, you should be able to find a script from there that suits your needs.  Smiling

Hello,

This is great! Thank you so much. I might still have a few questions, but I might be able to solve them.
