Hello,
In DWMX2004 I have created a form to be filled out by users. I would like to retrieve the data to my hard drive. Is there a ready made cgi script or program I can use to directly fill columns in excel?
I could also create the form in a PDF if that is any easier. Adobe PDF can directly gather data into Excel from an email but not from a web server.
Thank you

I would look at exporting the form to a csv file and import that into excel.

You can attach a custom AFTER trigger to the insert transaction. In this trigger you can open a file using the fopen PHP function and write the data in the CSV format to it using fwrite.

There is a cheap script (18$) which might do what you want:

Hope that helps get you in the right direction.

Rowan,
Thank you, the 18 dollar solution is what I was looking for.
There are many web sites doing this very thing so I thought there would be a program to handle the date - I just couldn't find it.

You will probably want the PHP & MySQL solution they offer.
