I'm not sure specifically what you're asking for.  This probably doesn't have anything to do with Dreamweaver, and very unlikely a database (unless you're pulling information out of the database that you want to show your client).  But, if what you need is a password-protected area that only you and your client should be able to access, you might want to just use CPanel -> Password Protected Directories.  Otherwise, please clarify.
