I want to put the site map on my website. I have DW 4 and need to know what level of detail the site map should have and how to place it on the site...using DW4. The reason for doing this is that I read it is something that should be done and it will help SE rankings.

That is a decision you have to make. Some sites provide all of the "top level" links, or main sections of their site, some sites have every page on their site.

As for adding a sitemap via DW, it should be as simple as going through their wizard.

Well, I went ahead a created a site map for Goolge and submitted it to them. It is for a new site and I'll see if it is a help..thanks.
