Hi, I have built a page with tables in DW CS3. Now I would like to add a blog in the center area of my front page. There are tabs on the left side and some links on the right side. The center space is perfect for a few blogs. ( I will only blog 1-2 a week). My site is already set up with MySQL and PHP and the FTP is ok. Can someone help me? I´m not shure if I can do this throug DW, or if I should just use some of the prebuilt blogs Ifound throug my cpanel/fantastico? If so, then I need help also, because I would like to get only the blog area it self, but not all the other stuff included.  Hope someone knows what I mean? By,by

It may be better to leave your blog as a separate part of the web site.  Mixing site themes with WordPress themes and trying to get things aligned just right could cause you a lot of headaches.  If you want to have a blog, I would suggest just installing WordPress and controlling the entire web site through it - blog and all.

Hi, both of you, I understand that it will probable not work with wordpress, but I thought that somewhere on the way, I read that the wordpress blog was something I would be able to built and create around my website, but not necessarily to built the website around the blog. There is no way I will do that, now that I have spent so much time in creating the site as it is.
I really believe there is an easy script out there to use. (?) Confused Just have to be patient  Not Me
Thank you again,,,Bye,bye

Well, if you wanted to - you could have your site on one side of things, where it has all of it's design information, then install a blogging application like WordPress, and design a theme for it that looks like your web site.  This page from WordPress.org has a little more information on that process:
