Hello,

I would like to create a digital drop box for my students.  I use Dreamweaver (but prefer MS Word) and MySql.

What I would like to do is create a password protected webpage.  On the webpage I would like to have a "Submit File" button where a pop-up would occur allowing them to choose the file off their computer to send to my database.  Can anyone suggest how I could make a simple page like that?  Or better yet, any kind soul that thinks they could help out an over-worked, burned-out 8th grade teacher!   Very Happy

Thanks for any help.

If I'm understanding what you're asking, I can help you out with the first part (the uploading a file) - the part about incorporating it into your database, is a bit out of my realm.

I tried finding the page that originally helped me out when I was looking to create a pdf/doc upload page, but these pages look closest to the one I used.

or here

hope it helps
