On this page I used the insert > image objects > rollover image feature (DW8) - and in the "when clicked go to url" section, I specified the same page...so users will return to the original image.

It all works - but after a user clicks on the image to return to the original image one mouse move returns the image to the 2nd image.

I've followed DWs simple instructions...so it seems this is normal.

How can I get around it so that after clicking on the 2nd image, the mouse movement does not cause it to swap again?

Thanks!!

You should give us an example and include a link to the image so we can help you better.

Just curious. Why would a user when he/she hovers over an image that rollsover to a new image expect to be returned to the original image after clicking? It seems they would expect to go to a different page. I might think the page was broken if the functionality you want occurred.

To see the original image, all they have to do is move off the image if you have a rollout/rolloff (the actual term escapes me but I think you know what I mean) attached to it.

What your probably going to have to do, is have it where when they click on the image, it would take them to another link, that would only have the first image in non rollover image code.

Thanks, Troy.  I'll play with the two options to see which I like better.
