Hi,
Is there anyone knowing how to sett the "write permission" in the DW 8.0 or 8.0.2?
Like Right click on folder 'product' and choose menu 'Set Permissions ...'. , it can be set all 'Write' boxes.

Thanks very much

Hi begeiste,

If you are referring to the files on your server, you can login to your Cpanel and then click on File Manager.

Then navigate to the folder you need to set permissions on and click the name of the folder only. Not the folder itself.

Next, you'll see an area to the upper right that has selections for various operations. Select Permissions. (I think that's the right name for it)

The next screen will show you the box for setting the permissions. Enter what you need them to be and click the prompt for it to go through.

To be honest, I've never attempted to do this with DW...only to upload files occasionally. Normally, I either use Filezilla or WS_FTP for file transfers.

I hope this has helped.
