syncronizating with the time on the server

Does anyone know how to get around the problem with syncronization and a problem with the time on the server? Dreamweaver is unable to determine the time on the remote server (I think that was the error). I think that is why I am getting "Waiting for server" and time outs upon uploading.

Any help is appreciated.
