I'm not sure if I should post this here or in the cPanel forum, so I'll try here first and cross-post later if I don't get a response.

I'm going to be setting up a very small eCommerce solution for a client that's hosted on LunarPages.  I need to set up a client certificate, and the gateway's documentation indicates that OpenSSL can be used.  I've found lots of references here that indicate that OpenSSL is installed by default on LunarPages servers.  Which is great, except that I can't find it!  And even if I knew where it was located, I can't find anything in the cPanel that would give me access to a command-line tool.

Do I have to PuTTY in?  If so, how can I find out where I should PuTTY to?

In short, how can I run an OpenSSL command?

Thanks,
Rich

If you are on our shared Basic or Business plan, you cannot ssh. You might be able to modify the instructions here to do what you need: https://support.lunarpages.com/knowledge_bases/article/187

Thanks, Katrina.

I read that article previously, and I assumed that it referred to accounts hosted on a Windows server.  But I hadn't read to the point where uploading the cert is described, and I assumed that the creation of the cert would have to be done on the machine on which it would reside.  I'll give it a try on my local machine and see what happens.

Thanks again,
Rich
