I bought a SSL at Verisign. Now I need use server to generate CSR first. Our plan is a dedicated server plan and I find I can generate CSR at cpanel and WHM.
A Customer Service Representative (Another kind of CSR ) sent me a video link:

You will see in this video, the domain input is: sampledomain.com

My questions is: for generating CSR, if I input "www.domain.com" or just "domain.com", will it be different? Should I include www for verisign SSL? and which one is more popular?
I feel that I should include "www", but if that why does the video use a rare one as an example? I am quite confused
