Hi, I've recently installed CS-Cart shopping cart in my account & my site is just about set up. But I am confused about a couple of things:

SSL Certificate:
I have the basic account so I guess I have a shared SSL cert. Does this mean I can enable these three options I have in my cart admin panel?:

1. Enable secure connection in checkout (SSL certificate is required to be installed on your server)
2. Enable secure connection in administrator area (SSL certificate is required to be installed on your server)
3. Enable secure connection for authentication, profile and orders pages (SSL certificate is required to be installed on your server)

Or do I have to purchase a personal SSL Cert to use these features?

Merchant & Gateway Accounts:
I know I need to have a merchant account with a 1st party provider in order to accept credit cards on my site withOUT my customer being redirected to a 3rd party site to pay, correct? Do these also include Gateways or is that something else I need to obtain?

Thanks,
Brenda

This page here should help you with some of your questions:

Quote
Shared SSL will not function with ASP, JSP or PHP pages. It will function only with html, and cgi/perl based documents/scripts/carts. This is due to security restrictions on the servers. If you require SSL for PHP, ASP, JSP, you will need to purchase a personal certificate and dedicated IP.
We do not offer a Shared SSL Certificate with our Windows plans.
