Hi, I am wanting to sell a video game I wrote on http://lexiclix.com

What I want to do is only allow someone to download the full version after they have made  a payment. Probably via paypal or google-checkout.

Now, (I have not look into it but) I presume that paypal etc will enable me to call thier API from PHP code. I can then know whether the users payment has been made.

How do I then provide the download? (bearing in mind I dont just want to have a link to the file appear as this could be passed on to people who haven't paid).

Thanks for any ideas.

Cleerline.

Some shopping carts permit digital downloads after payment. I know osCommerce does; probably others too. I have no idea how secure these downloads are. There are also commercial services such as Payloadz and Lulu that handle this on their sites for a small fee. One of those methods would probably be much easier (and more secure) than trying to roll your own.
