I have a 2 questions.
I have a basic hosting package.
I am trying to use a new cart called magento.
The cart works but is slow loading pages.

The magento forum gave these methods of speeding up the cart.
1. Install a PHP opcode cache such as APC or XCache.
2. Make sure your Apache configuration has KeepAlives enabled.
3. Use a memory-based filesystem for Magento's var directory like tmpfs.

Can these be done with a basic hosting package?
Would a business package or more run it faster?

Hello,

Since I've just replied to your ticket asking about this, I thought I would reply here in case other's were curious about this as well.

To answer your questions in order:

1.) This would only be possible on a dedicated server, not on a shared server platform.
2.) This is already enabled default.
3.) This would only be possible on a dedicated server, not on a shared server platform.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
