First of all, I am a new user with a new site provided by Lunarpages. From what I have seen of the site and forums, I am looking forward to getting the online store up and running.

I recently installed the OsCommerce 2.2 Release Candidate 1 files and I am having problems installing the cart. I uploaded the files the way the pdf file in the download suggests. When I type my store name, it requires me to provide the Database Server, Username, Password, and Database Name. I have tried everything I can think of based on the information sent to me in the email I received when I setup my account and nothing worked. Can you please assist me or point me in a direction that I might solve this problem?

Thank you for your reply. I created the database in MySQL. I assigned a user to that database. When I enter the information, I get this error:

The information I enter is this:

For the Database Server: priam
For the Username: <username I created>
For the Password: <password I created for this user>
For the Database Name: <database I created> The Username and Password were assigned to this database.

I have tried that with and without the cpanelusername and I am still getting the same error.
