Hello, we need a shopping cart to use with Paypal. Lunar does not offer the Paypal cart (though we wish you did), but I see there are various carts offered here that are said to be compatible with Paypal. My questions are:
1) whats the opinion of people here on the best cart to use with Paypal and why??
2) I know you can install the scripts for the carts with the touch of a button but I imagine its more complicated than that -- how much work is involved and can anyone do it? Explain with some detail, please.

To use the paypal cart you just at html code to your static html/php pages.

There really isn't anything to install per say with the paypal cart and works just fine with lunarpages.  It's not really a normal store front/shopping cart.  You actually design your pages any way you want (any html editor, cms, etc.) and just include the code paypal gives you.

While I don't use PageMason, I would expect it to have two display modes (views): WYSIWYG and code. The WYSIWYG mode shows stuff pretty much as how it would appear on the browser (e.g., bold text), while the code view would show the underlying HTML code (e.g., <b>bold text</b>). Anyway, any time you're going to "drop in" a chunk of code, you need to be switched into the code view. Otherwise, PageMason will think the PayPal code you just dropped in is how you want it to look on the browser screen, and mark it up improperly.

Thanks for your reply.

No, PageMason only does the 'browser' view.  It does say you can download them to your html editor and change them and then import them.  So, I guess that is what I will have to do.  I have the CoffeeCup editor.  It will take me awhile to figure this out since I no nothing about that!!  But, I can't quit now.

If anyone knows anything about PageMason or an easier way to import this code into my pages, I would really love to hear from you!

Thanks again MrPhil.  You at least led in the right direction of where to look.

Ok, I figured it out!!!!  PageMason has a button at the top that says source.  I assume that I could enter the code there and it will work right.

I have been doing it the hard way, and now I have messed up my margins.  So, I might be starting all over, BUT I have learned alot today!!

That's it for tonight tho.

Thank goodness for this forum and all you nice people!
