How do you add hosting to a domain that's currently using google apps ?

Details:

I'm using google apps  on a domain  I bought from another hosting company.
I had to change some CNAME settings in TOTAL DNS CONTROL from that hosting company to get google apps to work - It's working fine.

Now I want to set that domain as an addon domain to my account here on lunarpages.
But when I change the nameservers on the other hosting company - the TOTAL DNS control goes off and I can't use google apps.

How to set it up so lunarpages and google apps work together ?

PLEASE HELP.

Drop an e-mail to support@lunarpages.com and they should be able to help you with the server side work that would need to be done, and let you know what changes need to be made where your domain name is registered too.

Mitch, any word on this? Can it be done?

I'm also trying to set up Google Apps, which required "domain verification" to make sure you are who you say you are. They offer a couple ways to do this, with the easiest method to upload an HTML file to the root directory.

This is all fine and dandy, but that's assuming that you're using the primary domain of your Lunarpages account. But what if the domain you want to verify is actually an add-on domain?? The root directory is in the wrong place!!

I've tried everything I can to figure this out. Anyone have any ideas?

Well, support@lunarpages.com would have to handle any record changes that would need to be made - however, if it is an add-on domain, I would think you could upload the test document into /public_html/addondomainfolder/  .
