The servers are all behind firewalls, but they don't each have their own firewalls, because that would push the price really high. We just block things if necessary on the main firewalls. You may want to install a software firewall too.
All our Windows servers come with Plesk as standard (included in the cost)
We normally set servers up within 24 hours. Most of the time it is less time.
The price includes Windows 2003 Server web edition.
PHP, MySQL are preloaded with Plesk, but it uses IIS not Apache.
We have clients in South Africa already, you can pay by check, credit card, money order, even paypal.
For a month to month payment, you pay the setup fee at the beginning when the server is setup. After 3 months, the cost of the setup fee goes towards the 4th month of hosting.
The mail would be handled by Plesk's mail server.
You can use an external DNS server. We set up the servers by default with their own nameserver software running, but you don't have to use it.
Last of all, as you are an ISP and may want your own custom setup, please note that we can supply any operating system you like on our servers, just let us know and we can give you a quote. We are flexible, I'm sure we can come up with something.
