We just signed up for a dedicated server here. When we signed up we were told it could handle live streaming video no problem. While setting up our server, I noticed something in the knowledge base saying these servers cannot accomodate streaming video. Anyone know what the right answer is?
Would be good to get an answer to this before we go any further.

Hello Tom,

There should be no problem with live streaming on dedicated servers. You just need to ensure the hardware in your server meets the needed resources to serve the amount of video clients you expecting.

You may need FFmpeg installed on the server.  That's the one thing that's a bit more challenging about dedicated servers, you have to take care of a lot more work.  You can do as you please with your server, but you also gotta know how to set up what you want, or you can pay extra for good server management.
