On the basic plan you need to open a support ticket- I believe they charge about $25 to install a 3rd party cert. - You can see more http://www.lunarpages.com/basic-hosting

Hello

If you own a dedicated server with cpanel then :

Login to WHM and follow the next steps:
To generate an SSL certificate:

   1. Click on the Generate an SSL certificate and Signing Request link in the SSL/TLS menu.
   2. Enter the email address to send the certificate to in the Email Address the Cert will be sent to field.
   3. Enter the domain that the domain is being created for in the Host to make cert for field.
   4. Enter the administration details of the certificate in the Country, State, City, Company Name, Company Division, and Email fields.
   5. Enter the password for the certificate in the Password field.
   6. Click Create

If you have plesk as control panel :
To generate a CSR for Plesk follow the instructions below:

1. Login to the Plesk Control Panel.

2. Clicking on the Domains button. The Domain List page appears.

3. Click the domain name that you want to secure with SSL.

5. Click the Certificate button.

6. Click the add button. The SSL certificate setup page appears.

7. Enter the relevant information in the Certificate Information section.
