Hello,

I just purchased a windows dedicated II server.  I want to run it as a game server.  I need to upload the games to the C: drive.  I am new to this, and this is the first time I've ever touched a windows server.

Can someone here please explain how to connnect to the server in order to upload these games via FTP?

Thank you,

-Marcus

Have you tried the dedicated live chat support ? It is 24/7/365 found here:

You can chat with server admins directly about our Dedicated Plans by going to http://www.dedicated@lunarpages.com/ or, if you wish you can contact them at dedicated@lunarpages.com

Hope this helps,

I did try the dedicated chat.  Their answer was to look into using IIS.  However it's not something they support.

I did find one way that I'm trying now.  I just created a new directory on one of my URL's.  I gave this URL unlimited disk space, and I'm sending a three gig .rar as I type this.  I think I can just use the RDC access to move the file to the desired location.  Once it's there I can unrar it and run the software.  (I hope)  I tested this with a small .jpg and it worked.

Thanks for your reply.  I am so new to this it's not funny.  Hypno  It's a shame more people don't use this forum.  It would be great to have more answers already posted.
