I am currently working on a website for a friend wishing to sell flower arrangements.

The only really complicated bit of functionality she will require is to be able to upload pictures of various arrangements as her site progresses. These pictures will obviously need to tie in win with her descriptions of the arrangements and will be done by her on a regular basis after I have finished the site. She doesn't have any knowledge of HTML.

Anyway, I've noticed that Lunarpages hosting allows you to install Coppermine photo gallery and I was wondering whether somebody could tell me whether this sort of software would allow me to accomplish this?

Any help would be REALLY appreciated.

Coppermine has a batch upload feature that works great and is pretty simple to use. Your friend would need to log in to Coppermine with admin rights, create a gallery for the pics to go in, upload the pics via FTP, then run the batch upload. No HTML knowledge required.

I'll add a second vote for coppermine, even though I haven't used it before... I've heard really good things about it and know that the development team is helpful...

Thanks very much for your help on this ... another quick question though:

Can you use coppermine to display images other than in a big gallery. I'm just thinking that this website may well in the format of:

**********
*                *
* PICTURE *            Description of product.
*                *
**********                                                            (link to gallery displaying larger gallery)

So is it possible just to withdraw one picture out of a category to use as the main picture (above on the left) and then have a link to the rest of the gallery elsewhere?
