I might be in the wrong board, please let me know if there's a better place, and feel free to move this topic.

I'm interested in starting a live webcast for the first time.  I was thinking about quicktime broadcast, but I'm really not sure.  Can you recomend software to allow a live webcast?

Thanks so much!

Hello, here are some Web pages via the help site that should answer your questions and give you an idea on what type of streaming is allowed here at Lunarpages.

Instead of doing a live stream, since that might be questionable on how and if you can set it up, have you considered doing a podcast instead?  For a cheap man's guide on how to get it done - check out this article I wrote for the Lunarpages blog:

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the links.  I'll read them.  I was curious if anyone used scripts like Apple's Darwin for streaming.  We're throwing a Live art's event.  4 bands, an art show.  Fire Dancers, arial performers and thought it would be cool to show it live on the net.   A pod cast would be a good alternative.

So in the end, if no live streaming server scripts are allowed?  Can you reccomend another service for us to use?
