Nice art work, I know a bit of 3D Studio Max, mostly "game modeling".

So you wanna know what Brian uses, last I heard it was PhotoShop, dunno if he uses 3D programs.

Photoshop would be my tool of choice. lately i've been looking to expand my horizons by learning how use things like Adobe illustrator and and eventually i'd like to get into some minor 3d stuff, but free time is not something i've got alot of lately, so for the time being, i pretty much use Photoshop exclusively. for web i also use macromedia's fireworks and dreamweaver.

Photoshop

Paint Shop Pro (don't knock it..they've come a long way)

Illustrator for more complex layouts

In-Design seems to be good because of the svg plug-in but there's definitely a learning curve.

M$ Paint, you just can't beat it   "[Big

I use Fireworks for web gfx, and being a Programmer I sometimes need to edit Icons and Glyphs I (seriously) use M$ Paint for this.  I did use PSP before, but in its newer incarnation (v7+) it sucks at Bitmap/pixel editing.. although its good for layers etc.

Ya, I know what you mean about the bitmap stuff and psp.  Gonna have to look into M$ Paint.  Interesting, never thought of that.  Usually when I install Windoze I uncheck that puppy!

Thanx for the insight!

"[Smile]"  well don't expect too much, its the most basic paint package you'll ever see.. but thats what makes it good to use  "[Big  I only select the color+drawing tools and then fill in the pixels.
