HOW TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR AVATAR,

HELLO IM HAVING PROBLEM CUSTOMIZING MY AVATAR, I DID IT BEFORE BUT WHEN IM UPGRADE IT I ALL FORGOT HOW.. SO PLS IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME PUT MY OWN AVATAR AT THE "AVATAR GALLERY" I WILL SO APPRECIATE IT THANK YOU

Click Profile>On the side click Forum Profile Information>Then select the option that you have your own picture and type in the address to the picture(you'll have to upload it your website).

no, im talkin about doing it to your own forum,i have my own domain.... and yeah how do you put your own image in the "avatar gallery" like youll be providing the image so people dont have to upload image from their pc... they could just pick from the "avatar gallery"....

so basically if you click the "avatar gallery" youll see a plenty of images that people can pick for their avatar... thank you hope you can help me or anyone.... thank you so muchh guys...

if your on the avatar section go to "show gallery" which is all the way down... and youll see that theres no image that you can choose... ...

How do I use the avatar settings?

There are three types of avatar; upload, remote and local.

* Upload types require you to create a directory (the default is images/avatars) and to set this to public read/write (ie. chmod a+rw), users can then upload avatars (subject to width, height and size limits definable by you).
* Remote avatars allow the user to supply a URI pointing to an image available on the internet, PLEASE NOTE that size limits do not apply to remote avatars!
* Local avatars allow you to upload your own avatars to a set directory, users can then pick from this avatar gallery. The default location for this is images/avatars/gallery. PLEASE NOTE that avatars are categorised according to sub-folders in this location! ie. you MUST place your avatars in subdirectories, eg. images/avatars/gallery/cartoons, images/avatars/gallery/real-life, etc.

You can also get several groups of avatars from PhpBB
