I've installed and uninstalled Joomla several times by using Fantastico, just to get familiar with Joomla and clean up ugly tests I've made.

I found a Joomla template/package from www.templatehelp.comthat I really like and wish to install it.

I notice that Fantastico installed two themes/templates, either of which can be made the default.

Should those be deleted prior to adding the purchased template and if so, how do I do that?

Once I download the purchased template, what is the process to install it?

I assume I leave Joomla in-place as Fantastico installed them???

Thanks for any help!

Depending on the Joomla version (1.0.x or 1.5.x) you should be able to find the Installers option on the admin pages, and browse to the package and install it, then choose the purchased template as your default. You could then delete the original templates, but until you are 100% happy with your new one, I'd leave it for now, but you can delete them once you have set your new template as default.
