Kind of out in the ether on this one. I have Joomla set up and working. I have Coppermine set up, and working as a stand alone for now. (thanks to all for the help...Rat and Randy T)

What I am trying to understand in BOTH is how to configure email. For Joomla I think I have found the answer, I think!?.
Coppermine, because it is set up as a standalone, I am not at all sure of. The docs say that it depends on the server. I am not sure what I have to do to enable the email for Coppermine as it is not bridged to Joomla. Should I enter the LP server address? Or, leave it alone, as stated in the CM docs? I haven't tried it as my plate is full and would like a bit of aid so that I don't end up with another problem, created by my ignorance of the subject. Thanks all.

Try it with the settings blank (it will use php mail()) and use SMTP (server: localhost) if that does not work. Bridging has no effect on emailing.
