Hi guys
I've been struggling with this for hours... as I'm no .htaccess guru (assuming it is indeed a .htaccess problem).

This is my site,
http://www.sasportsbusiness.co.za,

there is a redirect problem where
a user is redirected to the administrator's login page when he/she accesses
the site directly without having 'www' in the front like http://sasportsbusiness.co.za

Right now I have removed the .htaccess file, so it isn't there right now...
And it's doing it still...
Please let me know what I can do~

Thx

Post your .htaccess file and we'll have a look...

Are you using any custom CNAMES, or anything on your account?

Took a quick look, didn't see anything obvious, so it may be something in the code.

You may want to send a ticket to support at support@lunarpages.com, or via support.lunarpages.com for further investigation.

Is that your whole .htaccess file?  I have a Joomla site and it creates its own fairly large file for rewrites and stuff... Post exactly what is in the ".htaccess" file within the root of your /public_html/ directory.  If that IS everything, then I suppose you'd just have to e-mail support like Troy said.  If your site isn't registered with LP, you should look at any redirects with your registrar.

Hello,

Here are some links that will help you with the RewriteEngine

RewriteEngine

How to make Subdomain URL stay in Location Bar so as not to show the redirect

We are limited with the amount of scripting and coding support we can provide through the support desk, as support is primarily for account and server issues.

You may also want to ask your questions in our forums at http://lunarforums.com . There are many customers and employees that frequently go to these forums answering questions and asking their own. You would also have a wider audience to assist in answering your questions in the forums then you would here through the help desk.

For any assistance

very usual support from LP i get,
yes, that's all there is to the .htaccess which i modified, since all i wanted to try was getting this sorted out.

$mosConfig_absolute_path

$mosConfig_live_site

(In your configuration.php file), and which version Joomla are you running?
