Is there any reason why I shouldn't manually install version 1.5?  Fantastico only installs 1.13.  I just want to make sure there are no server limitations which would prevent 1.5 from working.

Should be fine - chances are that Joomla on that server's Fantastico just has not been updated yet.   Thumbs Up

When is Joomla 1.5 going to be available in Fantastico?

You'd have to talk with the Fantastico people on that one.  The usual process is:

Script gets updated...

Fantatico adds it to the lineup of scripts...

CPanel updates Fantastico...

Web host updates CPanel.

Fantastico has finally been updated to include Joomla 1.5.  Any estimate on when CPanel will have the version of Fantastico that has Joomla 1.5?

Thanks,
Sarah

Don't forget, Joomla have released 1.5.1 and are already working on 1.6!!

Regular Joomla users, current version is now 1.0.15, some security updates included.
