Having gotten back from my vacation and wanting to resume the efforts on my site I have come to the impasse that I knew I would get to; what next?

What I would like to have are some pointers on what my site needs for a better look, more interactivity for visitors, sprucing up and the like. Also, I am planning on integrating a shopping cart and could use any advice on the integration of same. Probably VirtueMart. Any critiques or criticism are considered, by me, fair game. I need the input and don't mind pointed advice whether negative or positive. Gimme both barrels. Just remember that I want constructive comments and not "Don't Quit Your Day Job" comments. First, I don't have a day job. Second, I already quit it. Bouncin for Joy

I have one comment and one question...

First, the background on your main page does not frame the picture well at all.  Try to use a solid color so it doesn't distract from the picture.

Second, what gallery software are you using?

Thanks,
Andy

Depending on which part of the site you are referring to... I saw this at the bottom "Powered by Coppermine Photo Gallery" Smile

Hi, Andy...I was told that the BG doesn't adequately frame the photos from another also. I have downloaded a framing plug-in for PS to take care of that. Although I like the Template I used I am not set on keeping it. I will probably change the whole site around once I get a complete handle on all aspects of being a "webmaster".

GM is correct, it is Coppermine photo gallery that I have used. Again, I am not jumping for joy about the gallery but have to make do for now. I don't know if the BG issue is the whole site and gallery or just the mainsite which is gray-blue. I recently changed the Gallery to a black BG and am not sure if you saw the Gallery in its original BG color or the black one as I posted this question some time ago.
