I am down to two possibilities for a cart system. The Zen cart offered here, or, the VirtueMart system made for Joomla. I am tending towards the VM cart as it is made specifically for Mambo/Joomla and I am not sure if the Zen cart would even work with Joomla. Can anyone clarify this for me. Others on the Joomla.org forum stated that the VM cart would be the best, if not the only, way to go. The other quandry is whether or not I should bridge my Joomla and Coppermine to get a cart to better integrate for my purposes. I just need some clarification and then I should be done with this phase of my quandry.

Hi crotographer,

I can't really comment on the coppermine bridge since I haven't really looked into it but I do have a friend that has a commercial website that uses the VirtureMart system.

He had it setup fairly quickly on a default install of joomla and now uses it to process both credit cards payments and also paypal payments at the same time.

As far as I'm aware he hasn't had any major issues with it and it just ticks over quietly doing it's job.

I hope that this helps you in your choice.
