I uploaded a WP Theme to the server no problem.  The next step was to "activate the plugins in the plugins folder."  I am lost on this.  I am using SmartFTP and can see the plugin folder on the server and it seems populated with lots of plugins.

Are these not being activated, the reason, the theme is not displaying as a choice for me to select??

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Katrina - I blew it!  I never saw the WP folder created when I uploaded WP, so I created my own. Once I uploaded files to the correct folder - voila', all works fine.

Thank you - no doubt I'll be back for more advice as I progress on my site.
