Below is a compilation of two messages I posted elswhere. I'm still stubling around here, i'll be a little more precise in the future.
Anyway

Would someone correct me if I'm wrong here.
Each Script installed from Fantastico requires its own database which would cost $1 each per month. If they are downloaded from an externall source they can all be loaded into one database which is included in the monthly fee.
If I have to download and install myself, I am well into uncharted territory. And will need all the help I can get.
As a practice run I down loaded phpbb2, which is now livifng in a file in Mydocuments. How would I get that from there to a database on my website. I use FrontPage 2000.

Downloading, saving, uploading and installing scripts. then getting a link on the site.
The phpbb script for example.
Does anyone know a seemless A to Z prcedure for doing the above.
My eyes glaze over when I look at the tutorial.

Thank you Thu, I apologise and it wont happen again.
Do you have any comments on my remarks? Are my observations correct?
Do you have any assistance to offer?
Your comments would be appreciated.

phpbb comes with installation instructions in the docs folder.

I guess your observations aren't wrong so I didn't feel the need to correct though I'm not sure which observation you want me to comment on.

If it is this one, it is correct Thumbs Up :

It wont allow me to install th phpbb because I guess I put something else in there, what I dont know at this point, is how to find what it is, where it is, then get it out of there.
