I am getting a message every day that my Wordpress installation is out of date, but I updated it within 24 hours to the latest version. Wordpress itself indicates that it is the latest version (2.2.1). How can I stop getting this message? Thanks.

When you updated it, did you do so via Fantastico or did you manually update WordPress on your own?  If you did it on your own, Fantastico isn't going to know - since it only knows about the updates it has done.

I did it manually, as I have done before -- without getting this notification. I'd like to stop getting this notice. Please advise.

Hello,

Since you performed the upgrade manually, you will need to remove the installation from Fantastico. You can do this by deleting the corresponding folder in the .fantasicodata folder.

Another way to do it, if you want to keep the installation in the Fantastico list for later removal or upgrade or whatever:

1. Go to your WP installation directory
2. Open fantversion.php for editing
3. Change $version to the version Fantastico thinks you should have
4. Save file
5. Go to Fantastico to make sure it read it correctly

This works for every Fantastico-installed script I've checked so far.
