Help installing PHPBB2 Plus

Hey guys,
When I try to install PHPBB2 Plus I get the following error:

Warning: mysql_error(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/btforce2/public_html/phpbb2/db/mysql4.php on line 330

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
