I'm afraid they will not be able to help you-- I have tried. I opened a ticket on the 15th and asked if they had any idea when this problem might be fixed. The answer was:
We do apologize for any inconvenience , It has recently been discovered that the version of Horde currently provided with cPanel has a major security vulnerability and as a result, it has been disabled until cPanel is able to provide a newer version that deals with this exploit.
We have been in contact with cPanel about this issue and are currently waiting for the new version. There is not currently an ETA on this new release, however as soon as it is available, we will reenable horde.
At this time, I have been unable to locate an alternative method for accessing the calender feature of horde via other means.
Please advise if you have any questions or further issues.
I waited until today, and, since it's still down, I wrote a lengthy email explaining that this was a very big problem for me and I suggested that lunarpages press the relevant parties to find out how long it's going to take and to have more communication with us about this issue (like having a news page we could go to to find out the status). The reply was:
Unfortunately we do not have any eta on when this issue will be resolved, I know that our admins are working on updating the servers and when this has completed your Horde will again be replaced.
Since that was a "no response" kind of response, I answered with this:
Why don't you have any eta on this? Has no one been in contact with the relevant parties? It's been over a week!
The response was:
Our admins are still working on the issue, unfortunately no eta has been announced on this.
Once this has been completed, Horde will be back up and running.
So if you go to the help desk, you're just going to get the run around with canned answers that don't address the question. (I simply don't understand why lunarpages won't talk to the relevant parties and find out how long it's going to take to fix this problem.) My advice is not to bother with it.
I am now searching for a new method of keeping my calendar. I simply can never have anything like this ever happen again.
