Yes, support will be able to help you with this - as this is being tackled on a server by server basis.  Some servers have had Horde turned back on and have this issue fixed and others soon will in the future.  Thanks!

You should be done updating servers and turning Horde back on by now. It's starting to get annoying now.!!!

Is there any update to the Horde issue? The squirrel Mail solution doesn't work and the only way to get my mail is through Outlook. I've tried calling technical support three times this morning and have had to wait over 10-15 minutes each time. I hate airing my grievances publicly, but this is becoming a problem for my business. I am currently on Hoderi.

cPanel posted a fix a month ago, and LP *still* doesn't have Horde re-enabled on all their servers.

http://blog.cpanel.net/?p=35

I already moved two of my sites away from LP ---- the others are soon to follow.

Thanks, Lunarpages ...

hey lunarpages,

How many servers do you do per day? how many servers are left?

divide the remaining servers by the number per day and that is your estimate.

I'll give you another week, and then I am out of here.

I do apologize for the delay in getting to the server that you are on.  Updates are still on going, and we are rolling them out as quickly as we can without effecting the functionality or efficiency of the servers we still have left to go.  Thank you for your time and your patience with this on going issue.

I hate to tell you guys "I told you so," but...

For some strange reason, there will simply be no communication by Lunarpages on this issue. No time estimates. No explanation on why it's taking so long. No updates as to how things are progressing.

All you are going to get is "It will be up when it is up."

I don't think there's much reason to try to continue to inquire about this issue. The Lunarpages help desk and forum are just going to continue repeating like Stepford Wives that "It will be up when it is up."

Among those of you who say you are leaving (or have left), where are you going?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us, our cpanels are getting upgraded to so we can put horde back. Unfortunately we do not have an exact ETA as to when this will be finished.

Thank you.

You should really start giving some support!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again I replayed to support@ and said we where told in the forum we just could send an email and get to know when the respective server would be upgraded...

What I got as a response:

Hello,

Thank you again for contacting us, we apologize for the inconvenience, as of the moment i your server is still under que to be fixed. We cannot give an estimation in when this issue is going to be done because each server is different once we upgrade we have to test the upgrade to make sure its functioning properly and on top of that we also have to make sure that the other servers are still functioning. We are sorry for the delay but this cpanel bug had affected many of our servers. We are doing our best to get this going, we apologize again for the delay.

Thank you.

Hello, I do apologize for the earlier response given to e-mail support again.  At this time if there is any news on this I will do my best to share it with you here.  If you are disappointed or wish to complain about how this situation is being handled the better place to do so would be to feedback@lunarpages.com.  That address is monitored by our supervisors and "higher ups" so you would not need to worry about your feedback not getting acted on or heard.  I do apologize for the delay, but our server admins are working as quickly as they can to get this update rolled out to all.

Also please make sure you respect the forum rules when posting here.  If you need to review you can find them in the green forum rules link in my signature.  Thank you for your time!

Give me a break, Mitch.  You edited my message for "advertising another web host"?  Apparently you didn't *read* my message.  If you had, you would have seen it was an answer to a question by another poster -- not an advertisement as you suggest.  I even quoted the question, but you probably didn't notice that.  You could have just as easily accused me of advertising my consulting business, since I made reference to my "clients" in my post.  Apparently, advertising a consulting business isn't a problem, but posting a link to your competitition is.  I can only presume from your pm to me that lp realizes it is losing part of its customer base and is in "damage control" mode.  Moderating (read: censoring) posts in the Forum, rather than allowing people to express the truth, is an easy way to keep lp's dirty little secret quiet.  This only serves to confirm what many folks are already figuring out: LP is no longer a web host worth giving their business to.  Thank you for your confirmation.

I looked at the rules Mitch referred to, and it is against the rules to discuss competition. Fair enough-- it's their forum.

I really hate being so negative about LP. I've never had a problem with them before. They may be doing the best they can to get Horde back up, but I hate these obtuse answers. I feel like I'm not being dealt with honestly, like they're hiding something. Maybe they're not, but that's what it feels like, and it's really off-putting.

Hello Jim, thanks for taking a minute to review that.  Also as mentioned before, would highly suggest you send your thoughts on the issue to feedback@lunarpages.com.  Thanks!
