Hi, forgive me if this has been asked before.  I am creating a phpBB for my site and am a bit stumped as to how to include my sites navagation menu.  Currently all I've done is change the phpBB logo to my own logo which when clicked on takes you to my home page.

An example of what I'm looking for is like the site of another LP member scanman20  http://www.notonebit.com/forum/.

Thanks!

Thanks Pete,

That does answer some questions.  Kinda as a follow up.... If I want to modify the body of the board to specify the width... do I have to make changes to all the tpl files with _body in the name or is there another way?

if you only want to make changes to the top of your forum to include the header you are also using on your site,  the only file(s) you need to edit is overal_header.tpl
(for every template you are using on your forum)

changing every file to a different width will take some time. and be careful, it could at some point mess up the layout of the forum.
remember to always have a fully back up of your forums files in case something weird happens.

Thanks psykik,

I was able to modify the header without too much of a problem.  I just want the body of forum to be a specific width rather than 100%.  Just to be certain...this does mean I will have to modify each of the *_body files right?

By the way...I know I could just try it myself...but there are soooo many of them!

Thanks again!

another option is to find a theme (or templates, whatever you call them) that doesn't use the full page/screen width

you can find a lot of themes like that.
It will take less time

Installing themes isn't hard. all you have to do is download it, unzip the folder in your /themes/ directory
and then in your administration panel, "INSTALL" theme
and you're done.
afterwards, you can still edit the overall_header

FYI. That's simply done by embedding the flash logo instead of a regular logo.
