I am so confused with the phplist and fantastico.  I'm not really sure what I need to set up.

Here is my scenario.  I send off 3,000 or more emails in a given day.  I keep going over my quota of 800 per hour.  I was told by Lunar Pages support to set up the phplist in Fantastico to avoid this problem, reduce the 20 emails per minute to 15 max per minute.  Well I don't see where to set the que to have
insure this limitation is set.

Also how does it work with my autoresponder program?  What changes do i need to make to have my autoresponder work with the phplist?

I currently reduced my list down to 150 or less each trying to avoid going over the 800 per hour max, but it still sends them out at the rate of 20 per minute, so that was not a solution.

Also is there any limitation as to the size of the list.  It would be nice to know this, so I wouldn't have to break them down in the future.

I hope I made myself clear,  because I certainly am not clear as what to do.

Any help by those experienced in this area would greatly be appreciated.

This is my 1st post ever, so sorry no bells and whistles at this time.

Thanks,

Jo

[your php list directory]/config/config.php
use this to set a 4 second gap between emails (works withing LP's limits)
define('MAILQUEUE_THROTTLE',4);

It doesn't. phplist sends emails. It doesn't respond to emails.

Hope this helps.
