I'm just starting with my first VPS account that currently has Plesk 8.6.0.

I noticed that under the control panel updater section, there is Plesk 9.0.0.

Is there some reason that you wouldn't want to upgrade to version 9?

Two reasons would be:

1. Plesk 9 was just released and it is always good to wait a bit for critical issues to be found and fixed.
2. Some features existing in pre 9 version are not yet developed in the latest version of Plesk.
