Hi All,

I have a few "non-reseller" accounts at LP, and I wonder if there is any way to consolidate them under one reseller account.

If yes, what actions to be taken?

Hello,

The best way to go would be to backup your current Web sites, and then sign up for a reseller account - (getting the correct number of accounts to cover your number of Web sites).  Then once you got them setup there, you could cancel your old hosting accounts.  You might want to really think before you go forward with this though because the reseller account bandwidth and disk space is lower than what you get with your standard basic and business hosting accounts.  I am sure others might have good suggestions for you as well here.  Hope that helps!

If these are all "your" sites (per Terms of Service), and there are no more than 11 domain names, and the total disk space is under 250 GB, and the total bandwidth is under 2500 GB/month, you'd probably be a lot better off with a Basic account than a reseller account. Of course, there could be valid reasons to go the reseller route (such as your sites are to be controlled by other people), but first consider a Basic account, or a Business account.

When I open a new account I have to pre-pay, and when I cancel my existing account I don't get any refund, right? So, the optimal scenario would be to do the switching when the account about to expire, right? Or there are other ways to to it any time (without losing money)?

When upgrading from one plan to another, LP will normally apply your unused balance towards the new plan (i.e., you don't lose it). If you think you might have a special situation, email sales and ask them about it. I don't think they'll actually refund cash to you (except in the 30 day money-back period), but they seem to try avoiding gouging you.
