I have some accounts under my reseller plan, and the procedure for all them was to email reseller dept./open a ticket asking to create a new account for me as stated in the Reseller FAQ.

Today I noticed (don't go there too often) that in account.lunarpages.com/reseller control panel, on the "upgrade/addons" tab there is a "Reseller client account" selector that show drop down list with starting with my current accounts number (8 at this moment) and then 9, 10, etc. After that there is a box for the lat 4 digits of a credit card and a button to submit.

I never tried this but it looks like you can purchase new accounts directly from the reseller control panel without asking lunarpages staff. I am right? Anyone tried this? I would love to open a new account and have it ready in just a few minutes.

Thanks for reading and your assistance!

Your current request in support has been handled.

In the future, you can add client accounts in your CAP (Customer
Account Pages). Please login here:

https://account.lunarpages.com/login.php

With your master reseller user/pass.

Accounts can be added under: Upgrades / Add-ons The number of accounts you
have will be shown in the drop menu. Just add the number you need to your
current number.

Domains can also be registered under Reseller Accounts, just select the new
domain button.

You will need the last 4 digits of the credit card on file to add features
here.

Well, the description of "How to" buy additional accounts and then add them is accurate, but the fact is it took me three tries and manual work by Tech Support before the Upgrade/Addon actually resulted in a purchase of new accounts.

That was a few days ago, and in spite of tech support involvement, I still cannot "Create
accounts." I get a message that says I have 0 (zero) accounts:
"Sorry you are at your limit for creating 0 plan accounts!"
even though the Create account dialog indicates that I have 3 unused accounts,
I have a receipt for the 3 accounts, and Tech Support tells me I do indeed have
3 accounts left.

I appreciate that Tech Support has gotten involved, but it is insane to spend 3 days trying to create an account. And it is equally insane that I can't create an account that I have been billed for an have paid for without getting Tech Support involved.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?
It is very discouraging. One can't be a reseller if one pays for the goods and then cannot actually resell them.  In the meantime, I have missed a client deadline even though I started this process well in advance of the deadline.
