Hi,

I have my day planned to find another Reller program in which to possibly SWITCH . Currently I do hold a Reseller with another host, and not overly happy the service. Customer service is excellent, however the operating system is not so great.

---------
I currently am hosting one large (constantly being constructed and added onto) website and creating 3 more seperate domain names to host within my current reseller. Offering hosting my customers is a big part (going to be ) of my business, although not technically a webhosting business. (pet related).

Can someone please tell me the cost , and how your reseller plan works, as I cannot seem to find much info about this on Lunerpages. Today would be a great day to make a switch ..........hint, hint!

Thanks in advance.

Howdy!

Here's the reseller plan page (which you've probably found already).

Clicking on the ? next to cost per month pops up the costs.

Here it is:
Quote
The setup fee is waived for the annual plan.

Rates For your 1st - 3rd Purchased Accounts (at regular Lunarpages rate)
1 Year pre paid account $7.95/mo NO SET UP FEE
6 month pre paid account $8.95/mo with a $15.00 set up
3 month pre paid accounts $9.95/mo with a $15.00 set up

Rates For your 4th - 10th Purchased Accounts
1 Year pre paid account $6.00/mo NO SET UP FEE
6 month pre paid account $7.00/mo with a $15.00 set up
3 month pre paid accounts $8.00/mo with a $15.00 set up

Rates for your 11th+ Purchased Accounts
1 Year pre paid account $5.00/mo NO SET UP FEE
6 month pre paid account $6.00/mo with a $15.00 set up
3 month pre paid accounts $7.00/mo with a $15.00 set up

Please note, setup fees and domain registrations are non-refundable.

As I'm not currently into reselling somebody else will have to answer the other part of your question.  (Although I would like to see the answer mywelf. Smile )

Thanks for your reply. I did see that page but silly me didn't click on the ?? marks.

Cool. My next question for who ever knows the answer/s would be::

1) On Shared Servers, are the nameservers branded ex: ns1.yourcompany.com?

2) Do you simply pre-purchase reseller accounts prior to needing them in order to resell them? Or is there a sign up option for customers to simply do on their own and then the reseller is invoiced for the purchase? Which means the reseller creates their own prices - $ go directly into the resellers bank account - reseller is then invoiced by lunerpages for the account purchased by end customer? (Are we confused yet?? Confused)

3) Lunerpages Opinion: At what stage or # of Accounts is it worth while/Web Performance and increased Optimization of a website to transfer a reseller account to a Dedicated Server?

Thanks for the info!

Hello,

You can have them branded to your domain when you sign up.

As default, they are ns1.fastsecureservers.com or ns2.fastsecureservers.com. You have to pay for 2 dedicated IP addresses for this option, which can be set up on request just after we have created the reseller account.

You do just pre-purchase reseller accounts, then choose the domain name, username etc from "web host manager". The reseller creates their own prices and charges them themselves.

I'm not sure how many it would take before you would be better off getting a dedicated server. It depends on what the websites are like. I would probably weigh up the cost of a dedicated server against multiple resold accounts. Also, you have to factor in the hassle of moving from reseller to dedicated, which could be a bit of a pain if you have loads of accounts.
