I received an email of "confirmation" of a domain name that I registered today. Only thing is I have not registered any other domains yet. I checked the email as best I could and it looked like it was really from Lunarpages but wanted to make sure. If it was then I know it was a mistake that will be corrected but if not then that would mean someone was able to register a domain as me? "The Megaphone" is the only domain I have currently registered with LP or anyone for that matter.

No one has gotten your info. That is just a bug in our billing manager that adds some other domain to the end on invoices. You can ignore that.

Not sure what is happening. 3 days ago I got an email (auto reminder) that my domain name would be expiring on Dec 03 and if I did not renew then my site would go offline at that time. I sent an email back (which opened a support ticket) informing them that I had already received confirmation that my domain name had been renewed.

24 hours later I get a response asking for more info, then the last 4 of my card number again, then my domain name (which a link to my site is on all my emails) so other than being very flustrated now I am not sure if my site is even going to be up come tomorrow.

In my last email I told the person requesting all this info if LP wanted to simply do a refund to me for any time remaining then I would find another host. almost 48 hours an no response so I like I said even tho my domain name has been renewed apparently some part of LP is not aware of it and I many not have a site come tomorrow....

I just received another confirmation so hopefully this means that everything is ok again. I had already previously received the reciept that I had the orgianal question about that started this thread which you also answered very quickly for me. A big thank you!
