I have to say that I think the reseller program feature set is really screwed up compared with the other LP hosting packages. I sent a support request to see if I could get an increase in HD space for one of my reseller accounts and was told that wasn't possible.


Reseller accounts were originally built off your Basic hosting spec. Now Basic has 250 gigs of space and the reseller account still has not improved at all. Sure I save on my per month cost vs. basic account but the cost to benefit ration is worse. I appreciate the price break, but I don't appreciate it if I can't help out a customer get some more HD space because of a hosting package spec.
I signed up to be a reseller when it started because I thought:
I would get better support response.
I would have an easier time managing the websites I host for my clients
For the most part email support response times have gotten longer and longer over the past year. Resolution times have stretched out also. WMH does make it easier to manage my reseller accounts; but with restrictive, inflexible account specs and long support response times I'm just not adding reseller accounts anymore. I have a dedicated server account with LP that I add to and I have "
other hosting company"and "
other hosting company" hosting companies to diversify my hosting risk.
As a long time customer, I just wanted to let you know my dissatisfaction with this program.
