Hello,

So it has been 3 years and more now ... we have a reseller from LP, So during that people expect improvement in services , but with LP you get things worse than you have used to . Imagine with all the other features that are considered luxurious , the site backup as a crucial thing , but with LP it is a trivial thing they consider it not important at all and they charge you 75$ for the 5 days back up they offer.....

we have some clients that had damaged DBs for their websites and badly needed a restore ,, so LP doesn't have a backup...

So what kind of service is that , no weekly-monthly back up !!!

I am *, as we are paying for this as we need to keep the relationship with our clients....

thank you LP.. for the true experience..

qf-design, just sent you a PM via the forum here.  Could you get back to me there, and I'd be happy to get this checked into for you.  Thanks!

Looks like the technical side of this is getting taken care of by support, and they should be with you shortly on that end of things.  However, I do think this might be a good reminder for all to remember to keep backups of your web sites.  We provide a number of different ways for you to backup your content, you can get more advice on this here:

http://wiki.lunarpages.com/Backups

When a backup restore situation comes up, it is important to contact the support team as soon as possible, to make sure that a backup can be recovered.  Due to storage concerns, because we don't want to overload our customers' servers and hosting space, we limit the number of backups that are kept.

If you ever any any questions on what might be the best way to backup your content in the future, feel free to ask here.  We have many helpful members here that would be more than happy to assist you.  Thank you for your time!

Looks like this situation is still being worked on, your information is being restored, and has been escalated to another level of support to review and work on.  Hopefully all will be resolved soon.  If you have any other related issues about this ticket you would like for me to check into for you, please PM me via the forums here.
