Over the last couple of years, I have successfully loaded Google Sitemaps for a number of Websites I maintain (including my own) however it has all been through a different hosting provider.  Starting last evening, I have been attempting to upload a new sitemap for my Website on to the Lunarpages’ Windows server and I keep getting ERRORS.

When I click on the Errors link, it reads as follows:

“Network unreachable: robots.txt unreachable
We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit”.  (?)

When I click on the (?) it says:

“We couldn't find the Sitemap at the location you provided. Please make sure the Sitemap URL is correct and resubmit your Sitemap.

We were unable to find your Sitemap at the URL you provided. Ensure that you've typed the URL correctly and that the URL is encoded for readability by the webserver on which it is located. Then try to add your Sitemap again. “

The link to my sitemap is as follows:

http://www.tremaynephotography.com/sitemap01.xml

The reason for the “01” is that I tried uploading a completely different map.

This is driving me nuts.  Any help / suggestions would be appreciated.

I have updated the sitemap, resubmitted, and performed a validation using XML Validator. com (http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html) and it came back with no errors.  If you want to look again at the code, that would great, and provide an opinion:

I am still getting a Sitemap Status of "ERRORS".  Maybe I need to try this again tomorrow, however from the other hosting site on a Linux server, I am not having this problem resubmitting their sitemaps.  I am stumped!!
