Confused I have noticed that the cached versions of my websites on msn, google, and yahoo have destroyed the CSS formatting.  These sites use different CSS schemes to achieve a liquid width and work well with both ie and firefox. Yet when the cached versions are displayed using IE the width becomes enormous and much of the content is hidden. The same cached versions when displayed using firefox are fine. Any ideas on why this is going on? Should I even worry about it when so few understand how to use the search engine cached pages?
This may be a bit off topic as the problem does not seem to impact search results at all, just the cached versions saved by the search engines. I just find it very frustrating.

Not sure why it's doing that but I've come across quite a few sites that weren't displaying correctly when using the cached feature. I use it quite a bit and it doesn't bother me when the site doesn't show up right. After all, I'm really just looking at the highlighted text, not the design. If I really want to look at the whole site and not just what I'm looking for, then I'll enter the site the normal way.

As you said, most people don't use the cached feature so it's not too big of a deal. And those that do, it's okay as well because most people just look at the highlighted content, not the actual design.
