I recently moved from shared hosting to dedicated.

On the shared hosting, I had php scripts that would writed cache files to a directory with 755 permissions whenever a visitor viewed a page.

On the dedicated server, the directory has to be 777, for this to work.

What can I change so that the cache files can be written with 755, or should I?
